1What Commicorn does
Commicorn turns the product photos and details you give us into listing images and listing copy for online marketplaces and online stores, and researches the search phrases shoppers use. You download what we make and upload it to the marketplaces and your store yourself.
We do not publish anything to a marketplace for you, and we do not sell your products.
2Your account
You need to be 18 or over and using Commicorn for a business, including a business of one.
Keep your login details to yourself. You are responsible for what happens in your account.
On plans with team seats, each seat is for one named person. The account owner decides who is on the team, pays for it, and is responsible for what team members do.
3Plans and credits
The Free plan gives credits for one product, and they do not renew. Paid plans give a set number of credits each month, as shown on the pricing page when you choose a plan.
Credits pay for what we make:
- One image is 20 credits.
- Keyword research is 20 credits for each market.
- A keyword you add yourself is 5 credits, charged only if it is added.
- Listing copy is 5 credits for each marketplace.
On a paid plan you can buy more credits at any time, in your plan’s currency: 1,000 credits for every US$25, CA$35 or €22, up to 20,000 credits at a time.
A credit is spent when something is made and handed to you, including the closest try we show, with its problem named, when an image does not pass every check. If nothing is made, for example after an error or a timeout, nothing is charged.
On a paid plan your credits renew every month on your billing day, yearly plans included; Settings shows the date. Unused credits do not carry over, have no cash value, and you cannot transfer them.
Each plan also sets how many marketplaces a product can be written for, how many markets keyword research covers, which image types you can make, and how many people can use the account. These are listed on the pricing page.
4Paying
We bill paid plans in advance, monthly or yearly, in US dollars, Canadian dollars or euros. Paying yearly costs less than paying monthly, as the pricing page shows. Prices are before tax: checkout adds any sales tax, GST/HST or VAT that applies where you are. A plan keeps the currency you first paid in until it ends.
Your plan renews automatically at the end of each period until you cancel, and we charge the payment method you gave us. Card details go to our payment provider, Stripe, and never reach our servers.
If a payment fails we will tell you. You cannot create anything new until the payment goes through; everything you have made stays yours and you can still export it. Settings has a link to update your card.
We will tell you at least 30 days before a price change affects you. It applies from your next renewal, not before.
5Cancelling and changing plan
You can cancel at any time. Cancelling stops the next renewal; your plan and its credits last until the end of the period you have paid for.
Moving up a plan takes effect straight away: you pay the difference for the rest of your billing period, and you get the bigger plan’s extra credits for the rest of this credit month. Moving down takes effect at your next renewal.
Changing from monthly to yearly billing takes effect straight away, and what you paid for the rest of this month counts toward the year. If you used more of this month’s credits than the part of the month gone by, the difference comes off your first yearly month. Changing from yearly to monthly takes effect when your year ends.
If you move to a plan with fewer team seats or brands, you choose which stay; the others pause until you move up again.
When a paid plan ends, your account moves to Free. Your products, images and copy stay in your account and can still be exported, but editing them needs a paid plan. Choose a plan again and they open for editing.
6Refunds
- Plans, monthly or yearly. Ask within 14 days of a payment, having used less than a quarter of the credits that payment gave you for its first month, and we refund that payment in full, with any move up you paid for since. Your account then moves to Free and the rest of that payment’s credits go; your listings can still be exported, but editing them needs a paid plan. After 14 days, cancelling stops the next renewal and your plan runs to the end of the period you paid for.
- Top-ups. A top-up lasts until the end of the credit month you bought it in, or until your paid plan ends, if that comes first. Your plan’s credits go first, then top-ups in the order you bought them. We refund a top-up within 14 days of buying it if you have used none of its credits, and the refund removes its credits.
- Disputes. If you dispute a plan payment with your bank, the plan it paid for ends at once; if that is your current plan, your account moves to Free. If you dispute a top-up, its credits go. Everything you have made stays in your account and you can still export it, but editing it needs a paid plan.
- Our mistakes. If we charged you twice or charged the wrong amount, we refund the difference in full.
To ask for a refund, use Request a refund on the Billing page in Settings, or write to info@commicorn.com from your account email. When your latest payment meets these rules, we refund it straight away, once per account. Otherwise we answer by email. Credits for images we are still making count as used, so ask once they have arrived. Refunds go back to the payment method you paid with.
Nothing here takes away rights you have under the consumer law where you live.
7Your photos and what we make from them
You keep every right in the photos and details you give us. You own the images and copy we make for you, and you can use them anywhere, including after you leave.
You give us permission to store and process your photos and details only to provide Commicorn to you: to make your images and copy, to show them back to you, and to keep your account working. That includes sending them to the providers named in our privacy policy, who do that processing for us.
We do not sell your photos, details or listings, and we do not use them to train AI models. Upload only photos you took or have the right to use.
8Keeping your listings true
Commicorn does not invent facts about your product. Copy is written from the details you give us, every keyword is checked against them, and images are built from your photos.
That makes your details the source of truth. If a detail is wrong, your listing will repeat it. Check everything before you publish it; you are responsible for your listings and the claims in them.
Some image types draw a scene around your product with AI. Where an image type offers the choice, pick Untouched product so your product is never redrawn.
9Marketplace rules
We write to each marketplace’s published rules as we understand them. Marketplaces change their rules and make the final decision on listings, so we cannot promise that a marketplace will accept one. Your account with each marketplace is yours to keep in good standing.
10Fair use
Do not use Commicorn to:
- list illegal, counterfeit or unsafe products;
- make claims about a product that you cannot support;
- copy another brand’s content or use its trademarks without permission;
- upload anything you do not have the right to use;
- break, overload or get around the limits of the service, or resell access to it.
We may pause or close an account that does these things. Where we can, we will tell you first and give you the chance to put it right.
11The service
We work to keep Commicorn running and your work safe, but we cannot promise it will always be available or free of errors. We may add, change or remove features; if a change reduces what you are paying for, we will tell you before it happens.
Keep copies of anything important by exporting your listings.
12Liability
Commicorn is provided as it is. Beyond what these terms say, we make no promise about results such as sales or search rankings.
We are not responsible for losses we could not reasonably have foreseen, or for lost profits, sales or business. Our total liability to you for any claim is limited to what you paid us in the 12 months before it.
Nothing in these terms limits liability that the law does not allow to be limited, such as for fraud, or for death or injury caused by negligence.
13Closing your account
You can close your account at any time by writing to info@commicorn.com. Export anything you want to keep first.
When an account is closed, we delete its photos, products and everything we made for it within 30 days. We keep billing records for as long as the law requires.
We may close an account that breaks these terms, telling you why where we can.
14Changes to these terms
Before a change that affects your rights takes effect, we will tell you by email. Using Commicorn after that means you accept the new terms.
